Beef on sweet and sour carrots
A refined greeting from Asian cuisine: fillet of beef, served with sweet & sour carrots for a sure-fire appetizer. try also this lentil cappuccino recipe too.
Ingredients
Aperitif For 4 people
200 g of carrots
1 lime
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of sambal oelek
30 g of wasabi peanuts
200 g of beef fillet
2 tablespoons of HOLL rapeseed oil
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
4 sprigs of cilantro

How to proceed
Preparation: approx. 20 minutes
Grate the carrots on the rösti grater. Halve the limes and squeeze them. Mix the juice with honey and sambal oelek. Add the carrot sauce and mix well. Coarsely chop the wasabi peanuts. Halve the beef fillets lengthwise and cut the meat, crosswise to the fibers, into 1 cm thick pieces. Heat the oil in a pan. Brown the meat all around over high heat for approx. 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce and simmer for approx. 1 minute. Serve the beef with the carrots and wasabi peanuts and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
